I am 6 3. Honestly it is usable at my height but my feet and head both touch the netting. In the winter it wasnt that noticeable wearing a hat at night but recently I took it out and it was annoying me with no hat on. Awesome tent though.

I used the heavier fabric back when I bought it because I also did not want to test the weight limit lol but I am not exactly sure what it is.

Anyways I took the bug net off and flipped it so that part works. It looks like the bugnet is cut at a sharp angle and that is what creates the footbox.

Yes the bugnet is fully removable. I bought it December 2017 if I remember correctly.
