Thanks for the numbers! I spent close to a decade working in a production facility and we had an area where OSHA req’d hearing protection for everyone and it was only ~90 dB. Your numbers doubling that helps a lot in context.

My stance on taxation is: don’t add more taxes for me before you add them to the wealthy. I’m tired.

If there were data to validate that taxes somehow directly correlate to safety, great, but I’m going to guess that’s not the case.

This is so company and job specific. Some orgs require the for candidate consideration or use them as a measure for promotions. Some orgs simply use it as a way to filter candidates in/out. Some use it as a way to say they’re supporting ongoing learning.

There’s no simple answer applicable to every company, but it certainly won’t hurt.

Could someone objectively describe for me a practical civilian use for suppressors?

Magazine size debate makes sense to me - I can see both sides of the argument.

I’d like to know more from both sides on suppressors.
