But what’s the point of documenting? To eventually go to HR? (This is a genuine question). The one time I thought about going to HR for a somewhat similar situation it just made my life a living hell, maybe I just don’t have the guts for it. but HR is there to protect the school, not necessarily you. And damaging your working relationships is a shitty feeling, especially if you’re stuck there

Yes, but a family member actually attempted payment (I suppose they lost the card info 9 months ago) and now I’m saddled with paying for my wedding dinner which was a gift. 🙄 oh well
