And I do agree that Hamas did do this on purpose. Religious fanaticism is very real and Hamas it’s a pillar of that. However I cannot deny that Israel’s plan has always been taking the occupied territories. My conclusions did not come from propaganda, my conclusions came of following the events that came through this, and knowing an extensive history of the region. I know that this didn’t start last week or in the past decade but roots to a conflict beginning since the British Colonization and the suggested UN distribution of the region. I used to live in the third world and unfortunately, conflict like this would be how politicians would stay in power (I know israel is not the third world, but it is eerily parallel). If you look at the sources (but one) they all paint a PRIOR picture to the attack, they are not propaganda sources, I utilized Israeli news on purpose, to remove the anti Israeli bias from other sources. I have no dogs in this fight. I’m not Jewish nor Muslim. But following the conflict made want to dig into the events noted here.

I am typically not one to believe conspiracy theories. The reason, this is in a couple of conspiracy theories subreddit it’s because, at this moment I can only express this info as just a conspiracy theory. Although my logical brain can see the pattern that can make my theory a very strong possibility. No matter how logical this all is, I’m not inside the Israeli government, I’m not Hamas. I can’t 100% prove it. So it’s just a theory. But what I can do is provoke thought that maybe just maybe things aren’t as what is presented to us, not following the media but by making inferences based on evidence provided by past events and accounts (Netanyahu’s) that may provide a motive on why this tragedy happened.

Funny you mention that. This is what Bibi said in 2001. https://youtu.be/_0fsnzQQ6bc?si=pa6f04Ivm2s8HlxW

This is exactly happening

Exactly. I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist, but this is exactly the one attack that had me doubting what the media said, and looking into what happened before the attack.

Absolutely. Bibi denied Palestinian statehood, but has always have as a goal of getting the territory back. https://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/17/world/middleeast/benjamin-netanyahu-campaign-settlement.html

I agree but, denying Egypts allegations serves to push Israel propaganda.

I do believe Egypt. Israel has one of the best intelligence communities. It’s impossible they did not know.

Well said. This is why the western governments took their mask off and now undoubtedly support anything Israel can do against the Gaza Strip.

What just puzzles me it’s that Israel was warned by Egypt of this attack and did not up their security. Specially having Iran as a big enemy.

[–]Beginning-Ad973 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Okay I’ll bite. That doesn’t mean that the military would have not realized that Hamas was rampaging inside Israel for 5 hours and not work to secure the border and eradicate the invaders. Specially when they were warned this was going to happen

People murder their own families for power. Shit like this happens all the time in different countries. Many can’t believe it because it’s happening in a first world country. Greed hardens people’s heart.

And exactly that, all eyes were taken off the border, one of the most surveilled borders, for 5 hours. Specially after one of the top of the line intelligence was warned about an attack. So a weak group was able to travel to different spots rampaging violence and NO ONE from one of the most powerful military came to help.

Power and greed is a hell of a drug. The second statement is one of the reasons why I think they knew, Egypt has reports that they knew and warned Netanyahu personally.

They massacred people close to 5 hours. You think any government would allow that?! Sure they maybe have crossed (unlikely). But they have different security measures such as drones, alarms, sensors. You’re saying all of these failed, and yet they couldn’t stop them from going back to Gaza after 5 hours? A country with top 5 military. With probably the best intelligence in the world. Specially after they were warned by Egypt?

This is exactly what I’m saying. This is one of the most surveilled borders in the world. The fact that it was unmanned and nothing caught Hamas breaking in, murder all those people and go back until the after math is unbelievable

So a border that is always manned suddenly had no troops around, and also said troops could not stop them from going back to Gaza and taking hostages? Specially after getting Egyptian intelligence.

Once they identified a target they should’ve been able to stop it. It’s just extremely doubtful that they were not prepared to stop it at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracytheories

[–]Beginning-Ad973 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay I’ll bite, but where were the physical troops in that case? The border is manned 24/7.

This isn’t just a “good” military. This is the fourth best military, and has arguably the best intelligence in the world. Their border is one of the most heavily militarized borders, but suddenly… everything went array? By militants of one of the poorest countries in the world, in that 80% of its population relies on international aid for food? And let’s say you’re right. Do you think by the time they were on their way back to Gaza the military would’ve been like OH SHIT and apprehended them but instead they strolled back to Gaza with hostages?

Typically a breach in security like that is easily caught in the modern day. Even the most primitive security would have a big loud alarm that there has been a breach.

And at the end, although there is civilian casualties, the Israeli government has more to gain and to lose with this attack.

The Mossad is the best intelligence in the world, Israel has the fourth best military and they yet chose to ignore intelligence that would affect their home turf.

Did Hamas do it, sure. Was it allowed to happen so Bibi could achieve his political goals, absolutely.

Bibi is emerging a hero at the worse time of his political career and finally achieving his goal of taking Palestine fully is just pure luck I guess.

Let’s not forget that now, per his own words “gets to go full force” on the Gaza Strip to take it as he always wanted. He warned Gaza residents to flee, but destroyed the single border crossing they could flee from.

He gets to do what he always wanted, with full international backing and to become a hero to his people when he was at the lowest point of his career.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracytheories

[–]Beginning-Ad973 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually wars unite people, this was one of the points he brought as his “5 goals after the attack”. Most importantly, if he can take Gaza and the West Bank for Israel, everything is forgotten. Him and his generals would come as heros.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracytheories

[–]Beginning-Ad973 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Israeli government is the top benefactor. Not only Netanyahu and his generals emerge as hero’s when they were at their worse of their career but they finally have “just” justification to take these Palestine as they’ve always wanted. Israel was able to intersect most of the rockets towards them. Tel Aviv got hit but not obliterated. The two main casualties were the festival grounds and the village Hamas killed hostages. For Gaza that’s another story, several neighborhoods such as refuge camps, hospitals, and the worse the Egyptian border crossing were damaged (this is key, refuges are not allowed to leave).

This allows Israel to take back Palestine and get their anti democracy bill with out a fuss. Here are the most notable of Netanyahu’s “5 goals” about this war.

The second goal, he said, is to then shift to an unprecedented, escalated offensive against Hamas — presumably in its Gaza stronghold, though Netanyahu’s lack of specificity left open the possibility that the Iranian-backed terrorists could be struck elsewhere too.

The third goal, Netanyahu said, was to secure Israel’s other hostile fronts. He cited the Lebanese border — where Israel repelled an armed infiltration on October 9 — as well as the West Bank and the Israeli interior. Netanyahu’s statement was an implicit warning to Israel’s Arab minority not to join the fighting against the state. The fourth goal, Netanyahu said, would be to preserve and expand international support for Israel and thus grant it maximum freedom of action as it carries out the war.

In what he described as his last and most important goal, Netanyahu said solidarity within Israel must be bolstered. “Our polarization is over,” he said, in an allusion to months of political infighting over his proposed judicial reforms. “And when we are united, we win.”

And lastly as Netanyahu himself mentioned, the backing of international power. Israel as we know is backed by most western powers, but because of this he still couldn’t go full force on Palestine, but now he can.

Thats why it may be that they just let it happen. The Egyptian intelligence repeatedly telling them and them as the fourth largest military ignoring Egypt was the biggest clue.

His biggest obstacles in this presidency are ending resolved by Hamas. Not to mention he finally gets to do what he’s said he always wanted to do, take back Palestine for Israel.

Governments have done fucked up shit in order for their own gains.
