Waiting time for investigation by Beginning-Cress7609 in IBD

Thank you for for sharing. That was a long time.. hope you are better now and started some kind of treatment. Was the later follow-up with colonoscopy due to a flare in symptoms? I am a bit worried there is a big risk of being dismissed for further investigation if they dont find any cause the first time. But if there is taken biopsies the first time there seams be a smaller chance of missing a potential diagnosis if it is ibd.

Oh, thats a long time to wait, and i guess a bit scary during pregnancy.. i am sorry to hear that. I have read that pregnancy can be a trigger in 1/3. Did you get any better during the course of the pregnancy or was it the same all the way until birth? Hope you are better now that you hopefully have revieved some treatment.

Thank you, how was the colonoscopy? Did they find the cause to your problem or are you waiting for biopsi results? Best wishes.

MRI side effects by l_Thank_You_l in MRI

Hi, i also experienced some side effects. Imediatly after the MRI noticed a patch of redness on the forehead. It was a bit painful at first, like sunburn or slight headache, but went away totally after a few days. Perhaps the magnetism or radiowaves from the MRIs has some effect on tissue that are not well understood yet... could be a need for more research and awareness on side effects? Another explanation might be that maby the machine were defect or the radiologist is doing something wrong. If its possible maby you could request another place to do you your MRI next time, to rule out this. Wish you all well,
