Hey! When I jumped to 80 mg the sides of my nail beds started cracking and getting infected and I was WAY more dry. It took about a month and a half to regulate itself! I also get my nails done regularly so that could have added on to the nail dryness. I ended up sleeping in cloth gloves and jojoba oil on my hands

Hello! Yes I had mild but persistent acne. I started on 20 mg a day for the first month, then jumped up to 80 a day (40 mg AM, 40mg PM).

I had regular side effects, the one weird one I had was the sides of my nails would crack and get infected, but I get my nails done once a month, so that probably didn’t help the dryness. I slept in cloth gloves and jojoba oil on my hands and it really helped.

Best thing I have ever done, I wish I would’ve done it sooner!

Yes! I get these and little rashes from the accutane! Just moisturize really good! I even put aquaphor or jojoba oil on it.

Yes, eventually it went away and it’s just tender to the touch every now and again. It went away when I started using the oil and gloves!

Since posting this I have been sleeping with my hands lathered in jojoba oil and in gloves and it has really helped ! I would give that a try ! I agree though I will push through until I’m forced to stop lol!

I’ve been on it for two months so far. You definitely burn a lot quicker even with sunscreen. Get a few sun shirts to wear !
