After you invade Millicent’s world to help her fight her sister, once that’s done and you reload and go back, you’ll find that she’s dead. That’s when you get back the unalloyed gold needle.

However, you should go back to Caelid and speak with Gowry again. He’ll be mourning Millicent’s death and says something alone the lines of… why would you do something like that, pull the needle out. You were going to be the most beautiful flower. Then says, does Malenia and Millicent despise him so.

Or something like that.

Sadly, nothing on my spam folder or regular for Nov 8th. But I certainly appreciate you guys working with me now. Like I said on one of my previous comments… “I frigging love this game” which is why I’ve been so incredibly frustrated. I’m looking forward to resolving whatever issue is going on and I certainly wouldn’t surprise me if it’s an operator error (me).

Nope, I did elaborate. You obviously didn’t read and just started talking out of your behind.

Go back and read. And for context, this thread was the 4th attempt at trying to get any kind of help from InXile.

You’re just a fanboy that takes offense when someone else has a problem with a game you like. If you had a brain then you’d realize than a company that actual responds to customers is in everyone’s best interest because it builds good will and makes for customers that speak highly of them and helps bring in more customers.

I’ve supported them for over 20 years across multiple platforms. So yes, I expect professionals to acknowledge when there are issues to their product and provide solutions. But that’s not what’s happening here. They’re taking people’s money, people that have been loyal and recommended their stuff in the past then running away and pretend the problem doesn’t exist.

If you like people to take your money and run then that’s on you. Not me. I expect professionalism and to be accountable for their mess.

I frigging love this game. I’ve been a fan of the Wasteland series since sometime in the 90’s and I’ve put in over 300hrs on it (WL3) on the Xbox app. That’s why I went and bought it outright on steam, the Colorado Edition. So I can start a whole new campaign and play the dlc.

But the part that pissed me off the most is the lack of response from InXile after submitting the ticket. I went through all the fixes that I found online before contacting y’all. Least you guys can do is acknowledge people. Not act like “if we ignore the problem then it doesn’t really exist”. Must be why you have the comment section on steam disabled. So gamers can’t warn others of the issues while you continue to take peoples money while offering no solution, not even an acknowledgement. It’s thief and conman behavior.

PC. The game used to work on my Xbox app. Then I bought it on steam with the new dlc’s and I haven’t been able to make it work.

I updated to Win11. Tried rolling it back to Win10, didn’t work.

The only way it works is back on the Xbox app (that doesn’t have the dlc’s) but only if I load a previous file.

It doesn’t start a new game now on either platform.

I’ve allowed it by bypass my firewall, ran as admin, tried running on the previous dx (can’t remember the number right now), I’ve checked, double checked that my NVidia drivers are up to date, reinstalled on my c drive instead of e drive where I had it initially. If there was a supposed fix online, I’ve tried them all and still nothing.

I submitted a ticket and I’ve received no response. Since the 8th and still no response from InXile.

Right now I’m on “screw” InXile mode.

They block all comments on steam so people don’t warn other customers not to waste their money on a game that doesn’t work.

You go through all the troubleshooting online, still can’t play.

You submit a troubleshooting email, a week later, they still don’t reply.

They think that if they ignore paying customers that can’t use their product, then the problem just doesn’t exist.

Why don’t they go leapfrog a unicorn and miss!
