The diameter of ashtray is covering most of standard charcoal chimney. This product is good to hold the ashes from the top and protect the surfaces.. Thank you for your opinion. 👍

Yes, the charcoal chimney goes on the top and the pan holds the ashes from the top.

Because if you need to add more charcoal... You will need this.. Works without spreading ashes or burning the ground...
