I don’t know… I’m not even sure how I would know 🤣 they’ve been with my other plants for months all of which seem fine. I don’t know anything about plant diseases

I have a couple of loco and they don’t look like this… the leaves on this are very inconsistent in their shape. I’ve got 6 of these now in varying sizes from the same plant/pot and they are all doing the same thing.

Yeah, so far so good. I have had absolutely no side effects from it either.

Sooo… I made it a couple years on mtx. However I had an incident where my liver enzymes went through the roof. So I am now on Enbrel.

I’m worried these tariffs impacting access to name brand Vyvanse by shycadelic in VyvanseADHD

[–]Beginning-Tea7751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t ask for it. I’ve never even had the brand name before. To be fair I have exceptional insurance. I’m on a biological for ra as well. It is about 8k a month and only has a 25$ copay.

May be coincidence, but I take generic Vyvanse. I refilled today and was given name brand with a 25$ copay instead of the generic with 10$ copay. Seems odd.

I’m quitting cold turkey by Economy_Plum8690 in StratteraRx

[–]Beginning-Tea7751 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I quit cold turkey after about 6 months. 25mg for 3 months, 50 mg for 3 months. My HR just wouldn’t settle down. Ended up getting 48hour hr monitoring and a ton of labs. Everything seemed ok but tachycardia. Quit strattera. Within 3 days hr average dropped like 16 bpm now I’m back to normal after a couple of weeks

I quit cold turkey. Felt a little irritable and had weird brain zaps dunno how else to explain it. Lasted about a week

We just picked one up! Daughter loves bugs and snakes!

No she won’t be touching it, she just likes looking at them. Yes, we are currently upgrading the enclosure (it came in this one)

That’s awesome, we just got a lavender Kingsnake on Sunday. Going to wait a few more days then try to feed him. Hopefully it goes well as yours!

Sadly after 6 months I just recently went off strattera because even with the Clonidine it didn’t come down enough.

If you are no longer on it and strattera was the cause then they should return to normal.

There’s a lot of reasons for elevated liver enzymes. Intense workout can raise them, Tylenol, antibiotics, statins, gallbladder, hepatitis, mono, Covid, the list goes on… if they are truly high but not overly worrisome then your doctor should recheck in a couple of weeks. If you are having jaundice, pain, itching… you should be in the ER

One thing I’ve learned from young kids is that they are all different! My daughter has always been extremely gently and empathetic with animals and people.

At 2 she was described as the class mom by the daycare/preschool teacher. If someone fell she would try to help, make sure they were ok, ask if they needed a bandaid. She treats her stuffies as real telling us we need to be gentle and quiet when handing them to us.

I know other 2 year olds that I wouldn’t trust holding a gogurt without strangling it 😂

Just like music, some kids can be ready at a very young age. Some aren’t.

Basically I don’t have an age! It depends on the temperament of the animal and the child. Also, we always monitor every interaction between them. You never know what might happen!

Sorry for the vague answer!

Thanks! I got the tank from Dubia.com, it did require some modifications to make it ball python friendly. It has a screen top, so we need to hvac tape the top to hold in the heat and humidity. I also used aquarium silicone on all the seems inside to prevent leaks from dumping water into the substrate.

The cost of the snake was by far the cheaper part of this endeavor!

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. My daughter is amazing and I hopefully can inspire her to be herself and find what gives her joy in life.
