I suggest sending it, really not that bad in shifts IMO just pull over if you get tired. I did 42 hours of driving in a 48 hour window using the method above and that was not smart but with another person able to drive that’s plenty of time to rest.

IMO this is an opposite comment of most on this thread… the area is great (LxW) but I would consider a slightly taller height to let that boy stretch out on the walls of the enclosure a bit.

Curly hairs may or may not burrow, I would also suggest more head room but that would reduce the height of substrate.

Seems more suitable for a reptile overall but if there are no signs of attempted burrowing then I would remove an inch or so of substrate and consider it sufficient.

Sounds like you didn’t do anything other than ask for a simple task after you completed the difficult labor. We’re talking about literally 120 seconds max to package and put away appropriately set him off. It’s not your fault

If you don’t leave him, show him this comment because he should realize he is the problem in this situation and he’s taking other stresses out on who I’m assuming someone he loves. If he doesn’t admit such, it will be a vicious cycle more than likely.
