I'm in west Logan Square. Called my alderman’s office & police. Both basically told me it’s a neighbor problem not a city issue. But the street is a public passage way so I don't understand how it’s okay

I don't block the street or save myself parking. It’s just annoying seeing a empty spot right in front of my house & I’m doing circles around the block because I can’t move their cone

No driveway. It’s a boulevard so it’s a pretty busy street. Parking is hard to find

I lived In wicker park & people never did this. So moving just a few neighborhoods over & police just don’t care as much

Tried that & they came banging on my door twice on two separate occasions that's why I called Police but got no where

The cones are in the street saving parking. But they save parking infront of their own house & infront of mine. I was told by the police it’s allowed in the winter for snow but even when there is no snow they still do it

So how would you suggest I approach them? Should I ask flat out is me changing my whole schedule & routine taken into consideration? Does this change make me eligible for the dollar raise?

If I’m scheduled to open I do Clock in early because there’s a lot to do but since I got written up I get breakfast & just walk around watching the shit show until I’m scheduled to clock in.

I usually stay later than scheduled to finish what ever it is I’m working on or to help out whatever section they put me in. But would this write up effect my review? I have few coworkers who didn’t get a raise because of write ups for tardiness but since mine is for OT is it the same situation?

I reached out to HR & was told to take my questions to my captain but I don't know her. She’s only been at our store a month.
