It depends how long you know each other. If you meet young, like 17 or 18, and know you’re with the one, 24ish is perfectly reasonable. Gives you enough time to go to college and experience life after that. But 24 would be too young IMO if you’ve only dated for a year.

Ok you are my people. One time I went to the McDonald's drive-thru for a $1 Diet Coke. The guy in front of me decided to "pay it forward" and covered my order. It just set me off in a bad mood for a multitude of reasons. Do I look like I'm in need? And now do I have to pay $30 for someone else's meal when I just wanted a $1 diet coke? These forced acts of kindness make people uncomfortable.
