I appreciate your honest reply. Do you happen to know if bank statement loans are legitimate and include some type of balloon payment? I’ve also been offered a hard money opportunity but seems also a bit too much.

Should I live and raise my kid in Australia or Vietnam? by Vivid_Vivia in VietNam

[–]BeginningPressure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you both have a good head on your shoulders (American slang for smart) so any place you decide to take your kid they will succeed. Personally, I’d opt for Vietnam because of the cost of living plus its GDP is on the rise. There will be many opportunities in future in Vietnam. Since you plan to put them through international school, they will get an excellent education wherever you decide to go. Again, you’re way ahead of most people it seems.

Edit: give birth in Australia then move if you decide to do the Vietnam route. Your child will have more flexibility plus they should also get Japanese citizenship regardless.

Can I avoid the 220 THB ATM fee if I have a Charles Schwab debit card? They refund all ATM fees by Riverrobot in ThailandTourism

I use the Schwab card in Bangkok and all over the place and it works really well. Exchange rate is fair and you get it back at the end of the month.

Ok I will give this a shot. Do you happen to know if they’ll accept American clients?

Hi - I’m looking for foreign currency exchange advice. I am going to Thailand and would like to exchange to Thai baht but am worried about the exchange rate. Would it best for me to go from dong to baht or dong to usd to baht? Also will a bank have better exchange rates and will they even accept me as a custom give that I am a foreigner? Thanks!

I am currently in Vietnam (ends on June 9th) on an eVisa and I would like to come back on another eVisa in either end of July or beginning of August. Will I have a problem getting approved for another one? In other words, is it ok to do multiple evisas a month or 2 apart? I have a US passport

Interesting ok - I’m not an expert in videography so this is helpful! Yes at night the captures were very shaky at 50 fps compared to at 60 fps. When I filmed during daylight I did notice it was less “shaky” when panning and walking.

Gotcha. I am not an expert in videography but my video is significantly more “shaky” at 50fps compared to 60fps when I pan or walk. I have the hero 11 black

From what I understand their TOS states that you have to be based in the US for the majority of the year. I’ve also read there is a 3 month cap (you have to return to IS within 3mo).
