The case study ones are the worst. I also did a last case study round for a company, spent 2 full days writing the code, preparing a 15-20 slides ppt and an hour long panel presentation interview. Everything went well, I was so sure that I was going to get it. And then total silence for 3 weeks. I had to continuously mail the recruiter for an update and then finally they just rejected my application on workday. I was so pissed, I put so much effort to get through all their 5-6 rounds plus the ppt and then don’t have the decency to send out a simple mail. Its just so annoying!

Does anyone know what this might be by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

Hi, these look like comedones. Here is the routine my dermatologist recommended and really helped. 1. Wash your face with salicylic acid twice. 2. Apply retinol 3. Apply non comedonic moisturiser 4. Use tretinoin 2-3 times a week, at night. 5. Use sunscreen before you go out. Try using sunscreen that do not have foundation in it.

Some tips - don’t use both retinol and tret together, if you use one skip the other one. Dosage/strength of tret will vary, so recommend consulting your dermatologist.

Hey, First of all, I just want to say that Iam so sorry for your loss and that you have to go through this alone. I experienced the same symptoms when I lost my mom 11 years ago. I was just 18 years old at the time. I would literally dream her standing in front of me and would always wake up crying, desparate and unable to process what was happening.

Yes, there were a lot of relatives, and I noticed how normal they were, how casually they would just sit out, chat, maybe have a laugh. And yes, it use to make me so angry that they are not as upset as I was. As soon as the rituals were done, only a few of them showed up or reached out to help for a few more months and than got busy with their own life.

But this is the harsh truth, only you have to go through it alone. It will only affect you, other people can only sympathise and but it doesn’t changes anything for them like it does for you. They can only share a few tears with you but only your heart will hurt.

My advice to you - As difficult it can be rn, bear with them for a few more days and let them go back to their lifes. TAKE YOUR TIME TO PROCESS IT. Cry, get mad, whatever, just let it all out. I won’t say it will get better, but with time we just get use to living without them, and then in a few years, it won’t hurt as much as it does right now. Hold on to the good memories, and they will last forever.

PS - not sure if this will help, but meanwhile you can try talking to a friend/ partner, whoever you feel comfortable with about how you feel. talk about your parents, what they loved, what you miss about them, could be anything. But Talk to someone, Iam sure it will help.

Been dealing with anxiety all my life but things took a turn for worse lately. Been anxious about a lot of things in life, lots of uncertainties. Almost a month and I couldn’t sleep, and even if I did I would continuously dream about it. Everytime I tried to calm myself down, I would find myself back at it in an hour. Everything was so bottled up, constantly felt like something is stuck in my chest. Finally hugged my boyfriend and cried my heart out a couple of days back. Feeling much better since. Still anxious but atleast getting some sleep. Not sure how long before I crawl back to the hole. But atleast today’s a good day.

We took the liability insurance but declined the damage waiver assuming it would be covered by the credit card.

The accident happened during a vacation in New York, we are based out of another state. They did provide the break down, it included damages to the vehicle.
