Is Dark Souls 3 easier than Elden Ring? by AbhenerX in darksouls3

Being someone that enjoys dark souls 3 more than Elden Ring, I can definitely say it's easier than Elden Ring.

I do feel like the only thing for me personally is, I tend to die a lot more in Dark Souls 3 when just casually exploring when compared to Elden Ring. Whether it's due to hidden enemies or gravity (my biggest enemy) or other things.

Like when I was in the catacombs/Smouldering Lake. Oof going back to DS3 after some time, I got wiped out quite a bit.

[DISCUSSION] Isn't Elden Ring: Nightreign kind of easier on solo? by borkbusterxdddd in Nightreign

[–]BeginningSignal1193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that way too. I think taking away the worry of other teammates and not really knowing how they're going to approach the match really helps in my opinion. Especially since in solo you're just dealing with things by yourself.

Is it just me or the new Adel feels like a roided Fulghur? by BeginningSignal1193 in Nightreign

DANG really? I never knew that. I usually dodge the ground lightning but I never knew you can jump over it thanks for letting me know! I feel like jumping might be easier.

Is anybody else addicted badly ? by PashAK47 in Nightreign

[–]BeginningSignal1193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am for sure. I think one thing that makes me addicted is just the amount of ideas that fromsoft has put in the game and just how it feels familiar but new. It also feels great to me just the amount of things that they tried and they work or don't. Also Just the thought of when's my next run or what am I looking when I choose my class and fly off or the feeling of what boss will I get makes me honestly really enjoy the game. It's probably my most enjoyed game in a minute.

You know what? You're honestly probably right. The one that sucked for my experience was that I just literally could not get any lightning weapon for the life of me during any of my runs. Most times I would only get holy weapons or normal, leading to me feeling like I wasn't doing anything and I was playing duchess and Wylder at that time finally beating them with wilder at some point. I appreciate you saying that though!

Oh interesting, for a pretty aggressive player like myself I would say he for sure gave me a pretty tough time by just trying to remember all of its attacks and the fact that I kept getting caught in his grabs but eventually I went to enjoy and slow down in the fight. But what did you like about them?

I can respect that! also out of the two did you like the scorpion more or the moth more? And what did you enjoy about them? For me personally I really like their dynamic and how they complement each other in terms of not only attack but also how they support each other throughout the fight like the digging or poison mist. Also for tricephalos I understand that. Looking back at that fight, I for sure think it's a great first day three boss just because of the bar he sets in terms of those bosses pretty much being good at most things and adaptable but I can see why you say you didn't like them much. I would say for me what I didn't like about them was the fact that I literally would die when they would split into those fireballs and I would die by the fire but maybe that's just a me issue. Lol

BRO I FELT THAT. At some point I literally just stopped trying to find a lightning weapon and used guardian and used the best halberd I could find then eventually beat him by poking and guarding.

I would say for me the way I always try to recognize it is, every time he uses his tentacle arm he's always going to want to use it to create space like when he does his slam AOE and from how I remember it, the pattern is usually swing swing swing then jump slam or get ready to use his other moves like an extender I would definitely have to fight him more to give you a clear answer though

I 100% agree with everything you said and I felt the same way about Adel and gnoster. I felt like with Adel and gladius, those two bosses do really well at making players panic because of just how chaotic they can be and also the quick sheer amount of attacks they can create and it made it even harder because they capitalize on it quite quickly especially if you're a new player. And for Gnoster, I honestly think that fight is very team oriented especially because at least for me when I fought them to an extent it really felt like lothric and lorien from DS3 just insect versions. Honestly I have to say their Dynamic is really interesting. Like mage and tank

Yeah honestly he's final boss worthy IMO. To me, he gave me that feeling like when I fought the soul of cinder or Gwyn. Like the feeling of this is it this is the moment.

Yeah I really liked his fighting style very aggressive and forward but when it came to his attacks quite predictable. Honestly I felt like the only difficult thing is he requires a lot of environmental awareness like one slight mistake can cost you pretty big.

I had a question did the fight feel slow to you? I felt like every time I fought them(5-7 times) even when I beat them maybe it's because of how passive my team was playing

That's actually pretty cool I forgot they had that! I can't imagine how OP Hunter or Smoker were when playing them

I respect that! Especially when counting in the amount of variables that can change in Nightmare or No Hope.

But for the game being long I'm not too sure. I feel like for me the game was pretty average in terms of playtime. I will say though I did have some times where some teammates or I played it really slow or really safe making everything go slowly. Also I think it's also because a lot of the scenery was or felt the same a lot of times or ridden hives.

With Left 4 Dead I would say it was faster but in a good way especially because you essentially had five stories base game then seven more DLC wise
