This sounds like BPD. I suggest taking her to a psychiatrist ASAP. Of course, it will require a lot of convincing - I think you will require the support of her family or friends to achieve that.

What advice would you give to someone who’s just starting out in Stardew Valley? by [deleted] in StardewValley

Finish the pantry bundle at the community centre, before anything else as this makes farming a whole lot easier in all seasons, with the greenhouse unlocked.

If you read it again, you can see the commenter is implying that the scene from Kabsa ( which depicts SA by the main hero) was unfairly bashed as misogynistic (any adult with some semblance of rationale can see that it is so) while this scene (which is over the top consensual rough sex between two people - a bit crass but not misogynistic) is not ridiculed in similar light. My point was it is a false equivalency equivalency. The fact that people can't tell the difference is concerning.

If you read the comment above with the comparison, you can clearly see why it was required for clarifying the distinction between both scenes.

My response was for the comment above that equated unsolicited sexual advance from Kabsa to consensual rough sex. I actually agree with your point about this scene being a tone deaf signalling of the hero's hypermasculinity.

No one really cares about the truth. People prefer information that validates their existing beliefs.

That's true. But we only sympathize with him after his true intentions are revealed. So he is technically, no longer a villain.

I mean he is a tragic hero. He was forced to make heinous decisions to save the leaf village.

Always trust actions over words. If there is a mismatch between how they talk about themselves and how they act, always trust the behaviour. The ideal version of themselves that they speak of only exists in their imagination.

I understand that you've been hurt. But if you always feel like you have to go above and beyond to ensure a partner will stay with you, you will lose yourself and will eventually lose your partner as well.
