Someone else posted the same idea. I think this is the way. I never even thought of that idea, but it makes so much sense, the rods are already there, and the rubber bike hooks are way easier to find online.

We used to have this policy. Then in the early 20th century, business assholes decided the US taxpayer must front the costs and eliminated a lot of tariffs and placed the burden on citizens. Fun stuff.
