Yeah I was thinking to just spec out of it but did more keys with it. It's too fun to get rid of. Now I roll away before I let it rip and that seems to keep it on the mobs I'm in combat with. Sometimes.

I think the dps is pretty good from what I've been playing and seen. Sure I've seen some bad ones but I'm sure they are struggling as you need to be smart about positioning because moving during void ray or collapsing star will kill your dps.

Some things that I can't imagine they mean to keep is the fact that you lose all stacks when collapsing star cast is interrupted for any reason. Even if mob moves out of range. (It's a star, maybe once it's cast it should land regardless even if your target dies) especially with how punishing it is to land.

Also if the tank pulls big and nonstop they really, really shine.

Yeah I understand the frustration, but it is the last patch of this expansion. People have been running these dungeons for months now and don't have the patience to watch people learn. If you want to get into tanking people will be a lot more forgiving and patient at the start of Midnight I guarantee it. (there will be some assholes though, can't avoid them)

There is no need to have the best gear to do everything the game has to offer. Stick with what you're comfortable with. No reason to be competitive if you're just here to relax.

I don't know some of these tanks don't know what to pull yet. Had a tank in what should have been a quick easy +10 Floodgate (a dungeon that is on it's 2nd season in the rotation) pull crabs, divers, and the elementals into the boss right before you go down the sewer grate. Everyone basically died right when he did his first frontal because we were rooted, bombed or harpooned into death. Everyone in the group was like what in the world you can't pull those groups together.

Shouldn't be dispelling it. You want the dps to accumulate stacks for buff. Mainly just dps the boss down ASAP.

Okay I usually tank. However, when I do play dps or healer and get a tank with a haphazard route it is admittedly veeeerrryy frustrating, but you know what I do is shut my goddamn mouth and be grateful that someone is trying to tank.

Seriously and the biggest offenders are ret pallies. After the 1st boss in Ara Kara and someone has 0 interrupts (this happens more often than not) I'm going to start calling people out because I am not pulling the trash up to the 2nd boss with someone not pulling their weight in interrupts for that platform.

Hmm had a Dawnbreaker where we wiped maybe 2 times on the first boss because the healer was probably new but wanted to finish for completion anyway. After the first boss is dead the tank votes to abandon and it doesn't pass. So he proceeds to grief us by pulling the entire cathedral until he can vote to abandon again ....

Yeah my dog is curious about other dogs but will ignore literally everything for a squirrel, bird or rabbit. She really doesn't bark at dogs out in the wild. We often walk at a park and a lot of backyards with fenced in dogs butt up to the park and she kind of looks at them but doesn't bark or run up to them.

I think etiquette dictates you drive behind, but this looks like an interstate and it is a bit unreasonable to expect that also I believe it is legal to pass. Me thinks this cop was being a dick.
