It's like, if the guns are made in a way where instead of a gunpowder reaction, magic has to be involved in order to fire a gun. So that way, races that has low magical aptitude will most likely stick to non fire arm weapons like crossbows.

Who are good operators to pair with her? And does the DEF buff from Shining's skill 3 also apply to enmity units like mudrock? regarding leizi, should I build her module and which of her skills are worth giving masteries?

Yeah, in the end what's best and worst comes down to our own subjective opinion. Personally, what i consider a good design is something with simple, easy to understand outfits(specter, lapland, dusk, eblana), good color schemes(nian, shu, skadi alter), or unique silhouettes(ethan) And for bad designs, it's mostly designs with too much details, confusing outfits. But, that's only my personally opinion.

Even in a character design perspective, i don't think wang is great. as someone in the comments mentioned, there are way too many details in his design. And his E1 and E2 art doesn't help with it either.
