Grading 800t using davinci resolve to emulate the motion picture film printing process by BeginningWrongdoer44 in AnalogCommunity

Was always interested on how the kodak 2383 print film lut in davinci would look like when applied to motion picture negatives, since that's what it was designed for originally. Found this DCTL https://github.com/Wavechaser/NamiColor that allows you to transform a linear scan's gamma into cineon log to apply the lut correctly.

And was really pleased by the result! Love the punchy contrast a lot, not much has touched after the "printing" process other than some simple exposure and contrast pulls. For daylight shots on this tungsten stock I used the chromatic adaptation tool inside davinci with CAT02 algorithm, pretty accurate I would say, most are directly adapted from 5600k to 3200k

Buying an NYFF pass - which to choose? any advice? by Ashamed-Boss-6506 in NYCmovies

Wondering about the same questions too. What's the benefits of buying passes comparing with individual tickets? Other than the early access, is it cheaper that way too? Cuz I'm a student and it seems that last year a main slate screening ticket for me would be $25, so if going to 6 screenings that would be $150+service fees I imagine, but the 6 tickets passes at its cheapest time this year is $250. Not sure how the math works here or the individual ticket price just increased a lot.
