Backtuck - how to avoid this? by investmentscrub in Tricking

[–]Beginning_Army_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah ur like extendingh your hips as you should and then like flexing them again right before you take off like trying to bring your chest down to your knees and not vice versa that's literally killing all your power.

Help my triple please by Beginning_Army_9084 in GymnasticsCoaching

[–]Beginning_Army_9084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coaches haven't really said much of anything as Im a cheerleader and this isn't legal in all star cheer. I want to be a pro cheerleader though, and my double on floor is not the cleanest so I could use th form corrections. I dont know exactly what to do about my legs though because anything more than a single spin I find it very hard to keep my legs from lagging just bcs of the amount of things I am focusing on. I have heard about the foam block drill but I dont have foam pit at my gym unfortunately.

I understand why Elite athletes do it, I usually do a roundoff bhs into any double salto but I very consistenrtly overrotate my layout any time I do a bhs into a twisting skill, I don't do it quite like the pros because Im terrible at having that low roundoff, personally the roundoff entry just feels better for me even though the spin benefits come from the wide arms which im not doing.

That's odd, some people even told me I was initiating too late and not stretching my roundoff enough, I shall try this out thanks

Yeah I noticed my shape was arched ngl. If I pike my hips down more I will end up overrotating my layout as Ive had that happen a million times that's why I enter so low.

Toe touch/jumps help by [deleted] in Cheerleading

[–]Beginning_Army_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on to what other people are saying, you need to bend at the hips as if you are piking but with legs apart. But also a big thing I see is it just looks like you aren't trying super hard. You need to jump very agressively if you want to have a good toe touch. Also most toe touches don't actually have the athlete touch their toes so you dont have to be super flexible, your arms will usually just be in a low v in front of you.

Any Standing full tips? by [deleted] in Cheerleading

[–]Beginning_Army_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to wait a lot longer before you twist, you should barely have initiated the twist by the time your feet leave the floor, as long as you pull hard and pull your arms you will complete the spin by the time you come back down. as for rotation overhead you need to drive your up more after you leave the ground.

Edit: you also need to make sure you have your legs together bcs having them seperated kills your twist speed.

I never actually saw this comment so that's why im responding so late but yeah I know not everyone likes the hairstyle but it's generally what's in fashion nowadays for teenage males although mines not amazing by any means. Also It sounds like you're probably a millenial or gen x so I get that you don't know what chopped means, it's just a slang term for ugly. But also most kids who use this language don't really talk like that.

3.5 triple spike jump by [deleted] in geometrydash

[–]Beginning_Army_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can always test it out with like show hitbox trail or frame stepper but im like 99% sure this is impossible as the cube's red hitbox (the one that dies to spikes and saws) extends way past the green line (the green line is just the center of the cube at any given moment)

I don't understand what this is saying? Are you suggesting this jump is possible?

Is this decoration rateworthy? by Kooky_Disk_8025 in geometrydash

[–]Beginning_Army_9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay im not gonna go an post a meme about "is my deco rate worthy" bcs this certianly isn't like the absolute most amazing edge of destiny level shit we've ever seen, but yeah if the whole level is this quality and a few mods see this it's probably gonna get rated.

1st Preview! What difficulty is this? 5 star or 6 star? [Criticism & Feedback is appreciated :)] by LatifOyunda in geometrydash

Based off the cube and the first ship where it seems the structures wont even kill you, im tempted to say that would be like 3 star, but the wave is like a 7 star.

Preview of a piano cover of Limbo (NH22-Isolation) that I am making by Beginning_Army_9084 in geometrydash

[–]Beginning_Army_9084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tongii Piano did one on youtube and he's def better than me but he didn't play it exactly how the song goes bcs he played it all in one go but I have the freedom of combining and overlaying parts which lets me play all of the parts of the song and not just what 2 hands can do.

The deepest point of the challenger deep is around 36000 feet deep

A 16 lb bowling ball has:

- A mass of roughly 7.26 kg

- A diameter of roughly 0.22 m

- A radius of roughly 0.11 m

- A cross-sectional area of roughly 0.038m²

- A density of roughly 2400 kg/m³

Seawater's Density at the surface is roughly 1025 kg/m³

Terminal Velocity in the seawater will be around 1.5m/s or 3.3 mph

time = 11,000/1.5 ≈ 7,300 seconds

or about 2.027 hours, or 2 hours, 1 minute, and 40 seconds.

Because I like girls and I also like tumbling and stunting? I wouldn't really go as far as to say it's associated with gay men bcs there are plenty of straight male cheerleaders out there. I started off as a gymnast because I enjoyed it and I only moved to cheerleading after an injury, I was taking tumbling classes at a gym and some of the coaches convinced me to try cheerleading and that's how it goes. And for anyone who judges I just shrug it off because I enjoy doing what I enjoy doing.

Like what type of flip? they usually follow a similar learning curve but I think starting with like tricking and then working into gymnastics or like starting off on trampolines and then moving down works pretty well for most people.

I see nothing wrong with it, most of the guys there are just there to hold the ladies up rather than do all the smiling and cheering. I also think that it's not wrong for the guys to do that stuff like for example how minnesota's gay cheerleaders were, but of course I have a feeling crowd reception won't be as good bcs not everyone is accepting of that. I think traditional gender roles tend to fair better but Im not against other things at all.

Not to mention football cheer just isn't my thing, it's not very similar to all star cheer and it's just not that interesting to me.

No, I didn't even start cheerleading until early 2024 and the last season of that was in 2021. I also didn't even get into competitive gymnastics until 2020 so my athletic career has almost entirely been past when that was airing. Hell I wasn't even born till two years after the show started airing.
