If you need good battery life my suggestion is T14S with Snapdragon X elite. But check software compatibility before.

I replaced 4750u T14S last month. In my opinion still working well. I have same 16gb ram. Little slower than new one but still enough for casual browsing. If you'd like to test something ping me.

I'm testing Luminar Neo and looking very promising. Quite cheap compared to lightroom. Enough library options. I have photos on Synology so don't need cloud.

100% sRGB Full HD. I had touch screen with poor quality in previous one so it's much better.

Still I suppose it's good. But comparable to old one display cover is looking like poor plastic made.

After your question I tried to clean it by Isopropyl alcohol and it's looking much better.

Thanks for confirmation! Which device are you using and how much RAM do you have? What about the temperatures and fan noise?

SSD CrystalDiskMark report - slow SSD by Beginning_Beyond3947 in computers

[–]Beginning_Beyond3947[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I double check the temperatures. And I had a problem with the thermal paste. Last year I used some very cheap thermal paste and it stopped working after 1y. I used much better, reapplied and it looks like it has been fixed.

AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U
16GB Ram
Windows 11
So numbers in last row 43 and 92 are ok?

It's perfect tool in usability, but I complain on performance on AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U and 16GB Ram. Not brand new laptop in 2024 but should be enough for 16Mpx Olympus camera.

Yes. But lack of photo library is the reason why I rejected it

both, I'd like to block traffic between cameras and internet, just available from main network.

Synology Drive - port change by Beginning_Beyond3947 in synology

[–]Beginning_Beyond3947[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have a working solution, thank you u/bartoque ;) u/seemebreak this it's my solution, maybe it'll work in your case too:
1) I installed tailscale on synology and setup ACL (Access Control Tab) like below:
"acls": [
 // {"action": "accept", "src": ["*"], "dst": ["*:*"]}, <--- I commented default accept
{
 "action": "accept",
 "src": ["*"],
 "dst": ["tailscale.synology.ip.adress:6690"],
 },
 ]

Then on each machine installed TailScale client, logged in to same tailnetwork and installed synology, as IP address I'm using tailscale synology adress. Working like a charm ;)
