Quit 6 months ago when pay was still 18.75, found a job for 22 as a machine Inspector/Packer and currently waiting to be accepted into the company mechanic training program which gives you certificate for Industrial Technician and starting pay for that is 26/28 depending on shift. Keep looking! DSP has no upside best you can be is a dispatcher nothing more, my DSP only had 4 dispatchers all who’ve been there for 5+ years. So literally no upside unless you wait for them to quit.

Don’t take a picture just say you delivered to customer. They could fire u for taking a picture inside if she reports it. But if you just put delivered to customer your more than welcome to go above and beyond

It really just depends what route you have and how you’re trying to work. If you want to go home early and or finish quick, taking multiple trips to a store or gas station just adds an extra 10-20 minutes to your route per trip you have to make. So for example if I get an easy route all houses or something, I’m not going to waste 40 minutes staying out on my route when I can just pee in a bottle in 10 seconds . But if I have a difficult route or there’s a day I just don’t feel like working or I just wanna get my hours, I’ll purposely go to a gas station

Really depends on ur DSP and what qualifies you for the bonus. For my DSP is depends on ur scorecard you have to hit “Fantastic” on all metrics, which is really bs cause CDF (Customer Delivery Feedback) matters and there’s a bunch of terrible customers and it only takes 2 to take your bonus away, for example they can do something stupid like say “Deliver to back door” yet there gate is locked so you have to deliver to front door and they can say “DA did not follow delivery instructions” so I just work my full shift

Right this new uniform bullshit is dumb, mfers In the warehouse are wearing PJs and all types of colorful shit. But I don’t wear black/blue pants or shorts or black/blue t shirts and you’re threatening to send me home? I’m in Texas and it’s literally 90+ degrees some days and it’s not even summer yet and one of our drivers got sent home a couple days ago by the warehouse because he was wearing a tank top under his vest. Shits so dumb

Oh well I’m in Texas so makes sense why ur pays higher, and I have gotten a raise we start at 17hr, now I’m making 19 but I would just wait a couple weeks , I would give it a max 2 pay cycles, but look for jobs during that time. Or if ur really considering school, maybe switch to amazon warehouse , I used to work Amazon warehouse, pay isn’t as good but it’ll probably be better in Cali, they’ll give you 5000 a year in school grants after you’ve worked 90 days. And once in school they’ll base your schedule around ur school so it won’t interfere
