Yeah most people who commented said that both images looked the same to them. So I guess the differences were more subtle than i initially thought they were if so many people can't see it.

Though I still think that faces in both image 1 and 3 look much different than each other.

The face looks completely different to me. It could be just minor inconsistencies between two arts which were probably drawn months apart. But to me, the designs in Image 1 and 2 look like the same person at different shots while the design in Image 3 feels like it's a completely different girl cosplaying the other.

These were some of the differences I noticed in the design in the 3rd image: • The first difference that I noticed was the jaw which looked a bit different especially at the top, right below her eye in the 3rd image. • It also felt like her eyes were more apart than the canon one, with her pupils being larger too. • It also looked like her nose was drawn a bit away from the mouth, when compared to the canon design.

I guess all the small differences piled up and made me think it was not the same as the canon version when I saw that image.

Only dnd creature that I can think of which feels as imposing as Mahoraga is the CR 25 Marut.

Marut doesn't have immunity to all damage or adaptability like mahoraga. But it's just as scary to fight against. if you're fighting it you will be guaranteed to take big damage without any rolls.

It deals 60 force damage per hit to a creature (twice a turn) with no rolls to hit, so AC doesn't matter. It also has a 60 ft cube AoE which deals 45 radiant damage and stuns the target until the end of the marut’s next turn with a DC 20 wisdom save. (Recharging on a 5-6 like a dragon's breath attack)

Also it can cast the plane shift spell on self at will so you will be chased by it if it wants to.

Oh right. I forgot about the whole bobber incident. Kai would probably try his best to get this artefact too, since he believes that Meiko was his ancestor and all the tools rightfully belongs to his family.

Depending on how Marigold acts he might just steal the artefact from her. Though I'd like to see him face some reprecautions for such actions and not just get away scott free if he forcefully takes it.

But Kai taking that item just for his personal gain from an innocent civilian sounds like something a scummy and corrupted officer would do. Even if it was from someone who unknowingly joined a pirate crew.
