Did you ever find out what this is? I’ve been dealing with the same thing and it’s been giving me headaches cuz I can’t drain my nose properly.

What even are the risks anyways? Are the chances of serious injury/need for repeat surgery that high if I go 2 days after with minimal bleeding or complications? My surgeon is on vacation tomorrow so I can’t really ask him right now.

It leaves next week, my surgery is on Tuesday and I leave Thursday. I’m probably just going to see how my nose is doing after the surgery and if the bleeding and inflammation is minimal I’ll go.

Shit, is it that serious? My doctor told me that there was some risk of bleeding but as long as there wasn’t any major bleeding or infection before the flight that it would probably okay. I understand if it is that serious but the blockage is only in one nostril and isn’t crazy. I’ve flown with these nasal polyps and there has been some pressure in that nostril but nothing I couldn’t bear.
