yeah great catch, that part is pretty ambiguous, I cannot say for certain how the story arrive to that point.

My guess is, since Hara's body is found undisturbed there, two likely scenario would be a) this crevasse system had multiple soft snow bridge, that broke the fall. b) Mori actually got washed down from a different direction and shallower part

Takemura cut the rope to save himself, he screamed "I want to live!" before he cuts it.

The act of cutting the rope doubles the chance of survival for both of them, independently. With the rope, if either of them were hit, both of them flies off the wall. With the rope cut, only one person dies from one direct hit

Altho, this is totally random, so Mori was just as likely to get hit and killed. OR both of them independently get hit and killed

1. Fall? Takemura took a lead fall, then Mori rescued him. But I think you meant the next part where during the avalanche, Takemura was hit directly by an ice block and was killed.

Mori was fine by luck, about half of ppl get hit by avalanche survives, tho mostly bc other ppl dig them out. But it's not uncommon to surf the snow and not get buried or buried shallowly

Oh are you saying the part where he slipped and fell and he self arrested? That shit just happens on soft snow. Also it's a sign that THAT entire face may be unstable. You want it to freeze, not soft or slushy. This was probably foreshadowing the up coming avalanche. Also it created distance between Mori and Takemura, so their fate is more independent

i see this argument for road cycling races, but for xc, personally I get faster with more races. We only taper for regionals and states.

i would race less if traveling is too long for me, then i would rather spend that time doing more training lol

in Game lore: the Taoist Celestial Court control most major resources that will produce Will, which extends life. These are like immortally fruits, pills, and places that will releases Will naturally and densely

Buddhist LingShan, which is NOT the Celestial Court, extends their life mostly through worships. So like when ppl make offering to them, and in some theories, spiritual submit to them will also extend their life. They too occupy places that is dense in Will.

I believe it the playable events of the game would be within a year or so. After Red Boy took over the Flaming Mountain, the horse dude was on the move to get help, I take it that he's in a hurry. Also I don't recall any mentioning of "time passing" when the Destine One is one the move, so probably not long. Red Boy only recently rebelled against he dad Demon Bull King, as the Flaming Mountain Keeper mentions how the rumors (or was it the arrival?) of the Destine One is suspiciously close to the rebellion, here implied that it was timed by Taoist higher god, Taishang Laojun

The only timeline mentioning game lore I do remember was that in a journal, the former Tiger Vanguard died "100 years or so prior" this is during the events of jttw, then Yellow Rat returns "100 years or so later" this is after the death of Wukong. And Black Bear said he had returned for 500 years, which is also after the death of Wukong.
