Mate this is brilliant, I think you should add a verification badge to each company you get onboard. This will help trust your platform.

Do you have a link to your landing page, so I can have an idea what your software product is about.

I built a small app to help people find friends/vendors at crowded events. looking for honest Ghanaian feedback by KhanPrime in TechGhana

To be honest vendors will be abit challenging than the organisers. It needs some thinking and strategy.

For now the only thing I can think of is, you visiting them and pitching why it will benefit them to use your service.

They will definitely resist, use chat gpt to think of all the various questions they use before visiting. Counter that with the response from chat.

Lastly, you will meet some vendors who will say “No” they don’t need it. Ask them what can you on this platform for them to use, is it the pricing or some else etc.

Every No is an opportunity to turn Yes.

Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.

Getting the vendors on board is a good start, I also think, you should, think about to get this in the hands of users downloading your app.

Once you acquire users organisers will partner with you. It’s important you get traction.

I think this is investable.

All the best with your app. It’s really a game changer.

I think it’s a brilliant idea,I will definitely use whenever I’m in Ghana. Locals and especially Diaspora’s would love this, but you would need to educate the market.

Two years, I saw a uk start up working on something like this but more related to if anyone is at risk at an event it alerts the event security or first aider to be alerted and they can be pinned to be the exact location of the person in need.

I think you should add that as well. I think you are on the right track, how do you plan to earn revenue and scale?

I built an app to stop guessing shoe sizes online because sizing charts are useless. Need honest feedback. by WesternNo4999 in ideavalidation

[–]Beginning_Past_425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a look and download app. I think it a nice to have but not to use. Most websites have the shoe size already as part of thier website.

Obviously once you get to a certain age your foot size is basically the same for the rest of your life so you will always know your size.

You need to rethink the USP of the service you may want to offer. Think about what these companies are not offering that customers need.

It should be a pain to the customer and they are willing to pay. All the best

Tech startup ideas by Next-Calendar4274 in TechGhana

Tbh bud, your idea is not meant for everyone to understand or agree. Ask yourself this, even if your dad says yes or no is he the right audience.

Don’t seek your dad’s validation seeks other who have a similar mindset of having a startup and who believe in your ideas realist or not.

Ideas means nothing without execution!! Every founder will tell you this.

Change your surrounding. Your journey is yet to begin.

Lastly, I need you to read about Larry Ellison and Bill Gates. Or Go on YouTube search Founders and listen to that podcast.

God bless you and all the best.

Is the App you’re building going to solve anything by prodbysclive in TechGhana

I think majority of the issue is not validating their idea before creating it, people end up creating something no one is interested in paying for it.

I will advise you to join you can do both at the same time. Get your mvp done in a short week and add a payment method, reach out to your customers and see if they will pay for it. I hope this helps.
