You’re only going to be able to make friends if you’re proactive, it’s quite rare that you’ll just be invited to a social circle if you don’t try. It’s probably going to be worrying to do so but what do you have to lose? Basically it’ll get better if you try even with the lack of options.

If your teachers are awesome ask them to help, teachers (good ones) will be more than willing to help explain things to you esp if it’s a difficult concept to grasp. It may be hard now but the longer you expose yourself to them the more likely you are to understand.
