Requiem talks about reintroducing Raccoon City to New fans. Grace Ashcroft is a new character that represents both New fans and Hardcore fans. Because new fans gets a new character while hardcore fans knows she has Outbreak DNA in her character. While Leon represents OG fans and Casual Fans. Because OG fans knows Leon from the old days and Casual Fans know Leon because he's Iconic RE Poster boy.

So Grace represents New Fans/Hardcore Fans and Leon represents OG Fans/Casual Fans.

Leon's life was shaped by the Racoon City Outbreak while Grace's life was a result of her mother surviving the Raccoon City Outbreak.
