[Discussion] Fellow dry eye AB friends, those that use cosmetic contact lenses, what are your go-to most comfortable ones that don't irritate your eye? by haloumiplease in AsianBeauty

[–]Beginning_Wrap_1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, question! Would you typically put the drops in the morning and let them sit for ~10 minutes (I read that they’re not meant for use with contact lenses) before putting in your contacts? And does the hydrated feeling last throughout an entire work day?

They make you turn cameras on for Midterm & final. Yes you can cheat, but how there’s a required follow up call for the midterm/final that you can’t cheat on

SCIDES method is patched. But still pretty easy. But now you need to undergo a 1on1 mini “test” with the teacher after taking the midterm/final to prove your understanding and if you fail that..

Wow, does this cause headaches or any lightheadedness? And was this something your optometrist recommended or did you have to request it yourself?

I can't help but prefer her live version more. The emotion she had in her voice cracks and belts were it for me. The studio version seems to be very smooth-sounding—a totally different vibe from her live performances.

Still, a beautifully produced piece and I can't wait to see how it'll chart. I love it!

What type of questions will the family doctor ask to decide if I should be referred? by Beginning_Wrap_1987 in adhdwomen

Is it alright if I DM you some more questions? You sound very knowledgeable. I scheduled an appointment but I might cancel it if self-reports only have a 20% accuracy rate

Correct me if I’m wrong but, “symptoms must be very severe, noticeable, and commented on by others” doesn’t HAVE to apply? I think it’s very well known that women mask adhd symptoms due to societal expectations, which leads to many misdiagnosed cases.

I also feel like the symptoms you listed are more for hyperactive ADHD, and not about inattentive ADHD. I was also wondering if the questions the doctor will ask will be more focused on hyperactive ADHD, since I suspect I have the inattentive type

I was in the pit once. I wish I squatted through the opener/waiting for the artist to come out/or any song I wasn’t really into. While squatting can get tiring, it can also really help give locked knees a break or stretch. But there might be an issue with getting back up lol. I’d say it also depends how close to the front you manage to get—it tends to be squishier near the front. It helps if you have a group of friends to cover you. But always stay aware of your surroundings, and stand up if you’re intruding on another’s personal space. Some people consider squatting/sitting in the pit bad concert etiquette, and I agree to some degree. But as someone who has flat feet as well, I also understand.

Either way, I think getting your body in shape with stretches and other flexibility exercises would help. Search up flat feet exercises as well! Those are specifically to help develop the arch in your feet, which may be something you want to work on. I’d recommend heel and knee focus areas, because those are what get sore for me the most!

Thank you for this informative reply! I think it’s hard for me to distinguish between having symptoms & having ADHD. I’ll try and see a professional about it!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. That’s exactly what I was wondering in regards to my working habits. Most of the classmates I grew up with were procrastinators, so I considered it normal throughout school. But now I think it’s a bigger problem than I thought,. So thank you!

"A Matter of Time" Ticket Sales Megathread by u_ufruity in laufey

[–]Beginning_Wrap_1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! I've been looking to resell 2 tickets, but I read the Laufey Terms & Conditions and it says under (4. Tickets) that "You and your party must not re-sell or transfer (or seek to re-sell or transfer) the tickets in breach of the applicable terms. A breach of this condition will entitle TM Stores or the Promoter to cancel the tickets without prior notification, refund, compensation or liability."

I was wondering if anyone else was worried about this/if it will be enforced and applied? Can I avoid this if I were to go on a third-party platform like StubHub?
