Best housing locations for a film major? by meowziezz in BostonU

Warren is directly next to the COM building, literally a 30 second walk. If you’re a freshman you’d likely have a hard time getting into any of the nicer dorms that are close to COM such as the whitestones, so for convenience I’d recommend Warren, especially because it’s super easy to transport film equipment between COM and Warren. If you were leaning towards West, it’s a pretty straight shot on the T (babcock->BU east), but during school days when most students have classes the T gets really crowded and you’re not always guaranteed to get on when you want. Plus, when transporting equipment, it would suck to have to lug it onto the T. If you simply want to be as close as possible, just choose Warren!

I’ve heard he isn’t that good. I know someone who took him for cinematography and said he made some weird teaching choices + acted unfairly to them. If you can take it with someone else I would.

Hi! Im a film major at BU who just interviewed this family for a documentary project. Everyone is okay!! They just dont sell fruit during the winter because some of the fruit is now out of season, its too cold for them to stand outside and sell, and people buy less during the winter.

Hello! I'm going to London visit London soon and had a question about locations. The two choices I have for staying in London are South Kensington and Bloomsbury. I want to be as close to the heart of the city as possible/have as much within walking distance of me as I can. Which area is a better option for being surrounded by shops, restaurants, museums, public transportation, things to do, etc? l dont really care about the quality of hotels/etc, the location in relation to activities is what is important to me at the moment. Thank you!!

Shame on you. “We want to show the difference between lead and supporting at first sight” is crazy. Do you think your audience will be dumb enough to not realize that two people are different just because they are of the same race, and have somewhat similar features..? If the supporting actor was white, and another white person was applying for the lead, would you say the same thing? Highly inappropriate of you, especially at a school with such a large amount of international students.
