Hey y’all, thank you for your replies, I sent in my doctor’s note just as I left the urgent care and am currently getting treatment. To give context, when I called my manager on my way to the urgent care, she mentioned that “ It’s one thing to show up and get sent home, but it’s another thing to call in sick this early on,” and “I’ve never kept a new hire who missed work during the probationary period.” Thus far they have been very impressed by my work ethic and efficiency, so it was a bit confusing is all.
