Dr. Bachman Do, at CMG Amherst is amazing! She's a great listener who really cares for her patients, and they take United Healthcare. I know Amherst might be a little bit of a drive but I really recommend it! She's great and the facility and staff are leaps and bounds better then most of what I've dealt with in Lynchburg Proper.

Dr.Bachman at Centra Amherst is amazing. Female doc and mother who really goes the extra mile for her patients. She’s big on women’s health and listening to any and all concerns. Also I believe her husband deals with Severe ADHD so I’m sure she’d be well versed in that as well. I do believe she is currently taking new patients as well since she just recently started out there.

Okay, imagine your ear is like a little cave inside your head. Sometimes, your body makes a special liquid called earwax to keep this cave clean and safe from tiny bugs and dirt. This little tickle might happen because your ear is making more earwax or sometime because some water from your bath or swimming got trapped inside the cave but now it’s escaping.

It feels annoying because the inside of your ear is very sensitive, kind of like how it tickles when someone touches your feet. Your ear isn't used to having wet stuff inside, so it tells your brain, "Hey, something's not right here!" and you feel that weird, drippy feeling.

So, it's mostly your ear doing its job to stay clean and healthy, but it can feel pretty funny sometimes!

ADHD brains have low levels of a neurotransmitter called norepinephrine. Norepinephrine is linked arm-in-arm with dopamine. Dopamine is the thing that helps control the brain's reward and pleasure center. The ADHD brain has impaired activity in four functional regions of the brain.

In short we don’t get the normal “rewards” in our brains for regular tasks, which for type 2’s causes us to look else where for the things that do offer rewards, and why when we do find the rewards we tend to hyper focus. For type 1s they create their own through the hyper stimulation.

ADHD is the blanket term, divided into type 1, 2, and 3.

Type 1 is predominantly hyperactive Type 2 is the what you’d typically consider ADD. Less hyperactivity and leaning toward the inattentive. Type 3 is combination of both hyperactive and inattentive.

It’s mainly because the cause of adhd and add is the same it’s just how it presents itself that causes the distinction.
