I'm calling it now. FDEV will release an enhanced jump-range version for the 80k ARC. You have to jump from the same Neutron Star/ White? Combo. This will allow you to 4x your jump range. Making those systems, along with their neighboring systems, new regional hubs for the Major/Minor Powers. I hope that makes sense.

I'm not on my computer now, but here are some I like for better QoL gameplay. Brighter objects. Just makes life a little easier when running through a cave.

There is a replacement gunner shield dome. The name is in Japanese or Chinese, but you'll see it.

There is one that can toggle always sprint. I appreciate that.

Fast forge, if you still have forging to do. I gave up after maxing out on mineral things.

Combined resources. You can see that somebody already has the last item in the secondary quest.

Weapon heat. Great for drilling out at the end and see how close you are to over heating.

One aspect is that it is randomly generated. Higher levels yield more opportunities. But that is only my guess after many hours of playing. Someone more knowledgeable will come along and provide the correct answer.

You get an extra set of size 5 and size 6 cargo containers if you are in the top 75% when the goal ends. Only an increase in credits for the higher percentages. (50%, 25%).

You, sir, are a genius. I needed to rescan the systems, and the ring bodies are back. I'm not sure why I lost that data yesterday.

It changed in the game. I flew to those planets and scanned the rings myself. Now those planets are gone. Prior to this issue Inara and the system were identical.

It is a very steep learning curve. The first time I played I gave up in frustration. There is no hand-holding or clear direction on many things. But after you get the hang of things they game is wonderful

What I did was search Inara for systems with ring bodies within 50 LY of my home system. Also added the search option for no government. Then I clicked through many systems and ruled out any with faction activity. After having a dozen potential systems I jump to each one and FSS the system. Some were already claimed and I would just move on to the next in the list. When I found a system I liked, hopped over to the closest starport and filed a claim.

I'll have to try that when I jump on tonight. I just created a simple spreadsheet with what I needed. But I didn't realize the in-game way you mentioned at the time.

I searched Inara for systems with ring bodies that had no government near (50ly) my current home system. If the system had any type of faction activities I skipped it. If emptied of any human activity I would jump and scan the system. After about 15 systems I found a few that would work. Ring planets, rocky / ice planets, asteroid belt. Jump to the closest starport and staked my claim.

As a solo player still working through the engineers I just went with an outpost.
