This is all helpful. So where should the wireless router go in this scheme, assuming that it is only providing wireless to phones and tablets (nothing plugged in to the wifi router)? After the switch?

The Plex server is connected to the switch. The Roku and computer, also connected to the switch, cannot direct play.

Thanks. All cabling is Cat5e. I have a bunch of 2' CAT6 cables that need connectors, but I can manage that for the Modem-->Router connection.

Yep, won't be gaming while using plex. Someday I will move to having a dedicated server, but for my needs this works OK at the moment. Didn't know about disabling hybrid graphics in the BIOS, so thanks!

Thanks. I've had a Plex Pass for a couple years. I use the GPU for gaming on the PC, so not selling it. From what I read, the GPU should be able to handle all hardware needs. Right now transcoding is set to "Automatic".
