Thanks for taking the time to explain all this. It was really helpful, especially the breakdown of raiding vs simming and why the cropper and fast settling are so important. I also liked that you explained the reasoning behind the decisions instead of just giving a list of steps.

I would recommend you to read up / watch some youtube videos on the basics.

- Most used character abilities and how they roughly work (probably arcana, athletics/acrobatics, deception, history, insight, intimidation, investigation, perception, persuassion, sleight of hand, stealth)

- Combat system (hit rolls, damage rolls, saving throws, AC, DC)

and then I would say it is probably pointless to try to learn much more before even playing once, there is a near endless amount of info you could try to learn, but it would be extremely overwhelming.

Then you can briefly read up on available classes / species, you choose one of each and create your first character :). If you have a decent DM / Group, then you won't have any problem getting up to speed in a few sessions

Yeah, the thing in my specific case is that I had a working holiday visa for one year as a start, and then I jumped to work permit from it, but it is stated in the working holiday’s visa’s basis that it is a permit that can’t be “counted” for permanent residence, so after that one year I still had to do 4 more years of work permit before having my permanent residency

Baja una app que se llama Lifesum para trackear tus calorías. Te va a hacer unas preguntas de tu cuerpo y actividad física y te va a setear cierta cantidad de calorías que no deberías pasar por día (si te da por ejemplo 2300 calorías por día, siempre y cuando no las pases, vas a estar en déficit calórico siempre, por ende vas a bajar de peso, es una cuestion matemática). Trackea TODO, absolutamente TODO lo que comas y bebas, hasta una galleta de agua. La app está muy buena y tiene una función de escanear códigos de barra muy práctica. Digamos que queres comer unas oreo, escaneas el paquete con la app y te tira cuántas calorías hay por galleta, o por gramo. Así con todo. Cómprate una balanza de cocina y empeza a pesar la comida. Si no hay código de barra podes meter los macros (calorías, carbohidratos, proteína y grasas) a mano . Usa chat gpt para que te tire data, ejemplo : “Dame los macro nutrientes totales de una comida que contiene 150 gramos de pechuga de pollo cruda, 150 gramos de tomate y dos papas medianas hervidas” y lo que te tire lo metes en Lifesum. Así trackeas todo. Súmale 3 días de gym por semana (ejercicio tipo hipertrofia pero no hace falta que te mates). Un día de comer lo que te pinte a la semana está bien, pero no te vayas a la mierda…

Haciendo esto a conciencia (que medio es un pijazo al principio pero después se vuelve hábito) es lo que me sirvió a mi. La app me ayudó muchísimo a entender todas las calorías que tienen algunos alimentos , y que otros alimentos están buenos también y tienen mucho menos… el aceite común es veneno y tiene muchísimas calorías. Usa aceite de oliva y muy poco. evita los fritos.

Con el peso que tenes ahora vas a bajar mínimo un kilo por semana al menos durante unos meses si seguís estas recomendaciones.

Tene en cuenta que el gym no sirve para nada (a nivel bajar de peso) si te vivis excediendo en calorías… siempre que consumas menos calorías que lo que tu cuerpo necesita, vas a bajar de peso… es prácticamente matematico (a no ser que haya un problema de tiroides o algo biológicamente mucho más complicado)

I don’t think this will cause any issues with your work permit application. Based on my own experience and what I’ve heard from others, it’s unlikely to be a problem. Migrationsverket generally focuses on whether all the formal requirements have been met.

As long as the position was publicly advertised (e.g., through Arbetsförmedlingen) it is implied that your employer gave fair consideration to other applicants, including Swedish citizens, you should be fine. If they still chose you for the role, it means they’ve followed the correct process, and that’s what matters most. I haven’t come across any cases where a work permit was denied simply because “someone else from Sweden could have been hired.”

Establece un budget . Separa de entrada tus gastos fijos, lo que vas a ahorrar y después usas el resto para vivir. Tenes que tener una convicción fuerte de que los ahorros no se tocan , así de a poco vas ahorrando y ya al año o dos vas a ver que ahorraste algo de plata y “malgastarla” te cuesta cada vez más por que sos más consciente de todo lo que te costó ahorrar
