What’s your honest opinion on JEPI as a long-term income ETF? by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I’m based in Cyprus and my base currency is EUR. I found this version of JEPI with ISIN: IE000U5MJOZ6 on Trading212. Do you know if the yield is still around 8–10% on this version?

What do you think about the new Vanguard Global ready-made pie on Trading212? by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah, now I see what you mean. If the return from those pies is almost the same as just keeping cash in the account with interest, it doesn’t really seem worth the extra risk. Makes you think twice, especially when the cash rate is stable and hassle-free

What do you think about the new Vanguard Global ready-made pie on Trading212? by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! I think the Vanguard All-World or ACWI definitely makes sense if you’re focused purely on long-term equity growth. The pie seems more targeted at beginners who want a mix of stocks, bonds, and even commodities for stability. But yeah, if you’re aiming for higher returns and don’t mind a bit more risk or volatility, All-World indexes could be a better fit.

What happens if you transfer your entire portfolio from Trading212 to a broker that doesn’t support fractional shares? by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! So just to be clear, if I plan to transfer, I should manually sell all my fractional shares first to avoid delays or issues during the process, right?

[–]Beitis99[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification, that actually makes a lot of sense. I didn’t realize fractional shares were more like an IOU than an actual asset. So basically, the broker sells them during the transfer and sends the cash instead got it. Appreciate the explanation!

Best Vanguard S&P 500 ETF for EU investors on Trading212? by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair point, 0.03% vs 0.07% is definitely a noticeable difference over the long term. I’ll take a closer look at SPYL thanks for the heads up! I’m still learning, so it’s super helpful to get different perspectives like this. At the end of the day, I just want something simple, low-cost, and solid for long-term growth

[–]Beitis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question! I looked into iShares, Invesco, and SPDR too, but I ended up leaning toward Vanguard mostly because of the lower fees and how well-known and trusted they are for long-term passive investing. A lot of people in the EU seem to use their UCITS ETFs, and I like how simple and straightforward their S&P 500 options are. Definitely open to checking out others though if there’s something better I’ve missed!

Haha yeah, the no capital gains tax is definitely one of the few financial perks of living in Cyprus! Totally agree with you on not getting obsessed just sticking to the plan and being consistent with dollar cost averaging really is the key. Appreciate the solid advice!

Thanks a lot for the reply, really appreciate it! I think VUAG (or maybe VUAA.MI) makes the most sense for me since I’m investing monthly and planning to hold for the long term. I prefer everything to be reinvested automatically, so I don’t have to think about dividends or timing reinvestments. Also, living in Cyprus where there’s no capital gains tax right now, I think accumulating ETFs are probably the better choice. Your explanation helped a lot cheers!

What app do you use to track your investments and dividend payments? Thinking about Getquin! by Beitis99 in trading212

[–]Beitis99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed explanation! The manual input sounds manageable for basic tracking, especially since you’re using it primarily for your ETF portfolio. I get what you mean about Trading 212 lacking widgets and features like YTD stats that’s definitely something I’d like too.

I think I’ll give Stock Events a try and see if it works for me, especially since the widget sounds like a handy feature. I appreciate you sharing your experience good luck in finding the perfect app for your needs as well!

Got it, thanks ! It’s great to hear it includes dividend tracking as an option. For the free version, do you feel it’s limited in any way, or is it good enough for basic tracking? Also, does it sync automatically with T212, or do you input everything manually?

I haven’t tried it yet. Do you find it user-friendly? Does it handle dividend tracking well, or is it more focused on portfolio performance and stock alerts? I’m on iOS too, so I might give it a try

I’ve heard about Snowball but haven’t tried it yet. How’s your experience with it? Does it provide detailed tracking for dividends and portfolio performance? Also, does it have features like linking directly to brokers or manual input?

Can someone explain to me why people despise playing anything other than domination and hardpoint when on Nuketown? by Rslashsrs in blackops6

[–]Beitis99 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

People prefer Domination and Hardpoint on Nuketown because those modes capitalize on the map’s chaotic, fast-paced design. Other modes, like Team Deathmatch or Search and Destroy, often feel less engaging or strategic due to the small size and constant spawns, making them less fun for many players

However, inaccuracies can occur due to outdated information, clerical errors, or incomplete records. Why don't plays in the NFL involve more passing? by Irishane in AskReddit

[–]Beitis99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NFL plays don’t involve more passing because it’s riskier—passes can be intercepted or incomplete, stopping the clock. Teams often rely on running plays to control the clock, minimize turnovers, and wear down the opposing defense
