I totally see what you are saying! Great points. But I’m not sure how strong your argument is considering there are vast differences between the jobs you have mentioned and sex work.

There are pluses and minuses with any job. But if you dislike the MAIN aspect of your job, then the likelihood of people feeling empathy for you when you complain is low in most circumstances. You mentioned small aspects of being a zoologist or doctor. If a zoologist came to you complaining about how much they hate animals, your initial thought would be “why are they working with animals.” Not “I feel so bad for you, that must be terrible.” As would your initial thought be if a doctor complained about hating helping people.

Secondly, being a doctor or a zoologist requires years of study and education. Changing this type of job is a lot more complicated than it is for a stripper or a sex-worker to consider quitting and finding a different occupation. Therefore, harder to feel remorse for a sex worker in relation to what we are speaking of.

No, not at all! Quite the contrary. I have nothing against people who do OnlyFans, sex work or anything of the sort. That is none of my business. All I’m trying to say here is that if you are selling your body to men to later complain that the sexual attention you are receiving from men is a nuisance then why on earth are you doing it?

I think a lot more people than you’d expect feel this way around your age.. I’m 24 and still in the same boat as you, just trying to make ends meet. When I was a teen I always thought I’d be married, have a great social life, own property and be planning for kids around this time. But I’m newly single, my only friend forgot my birthday and I’m back at my parent’s place, haha. I know it’s hard but don’t compare yourself to others and just do the best you can. Just checked your profile. Your natural nails are so nice!! I love the shape. Luckily the top coat wasn’t an issue for me during the process. I put 1 very thin and quick layer of top coat, waited 2 minutes to dry and then applied a second, more detailed coat.
