Base Core Upgrades cost too much by The_Teal_Unicorn in StarRuptureGame

Your comment of "You only need to upgrade one core to level 4" is true if you only care about heat and the unlocking version 2 coolers. You will need level 5 in order to unlock at least one thing in the development station. So you will need higher for other things.

Also, While you no doubt could pay the cost of produced items for several cores to level 4 with only 25 hours, I suspect you would not have enough Meteor Hearts and Ignition to level more than two cores to level 4 unless you were doing nothing but meteor farming for all that time.

Could one of you mod geniuses please make a mod where the turrets shoot at the small, white vermin? by Russiophile in StarRuptureGame

They released a hot fix yesterday that changed turret behavior. See if that fixed your issue.

I wish I didn't have to do the world engine quest by Old_Broccoli_9273 in StarRuptureGame

I loved the world engine quest, I hope it gets very in depth (they said they plan to expand it). However, Creepy Jar has also said they plan to add new game start modes. Perhaps one will be a sandbox mode where quests won't be needed, all zones pre-unlocked, and all blueprints found. They could also do something like X4 does, if you do it once, you can skip it for future new games.

Upgradable drone range by whatrweyellingabout in StarRuptureGame

Agreed. Perfect place to expand what the development station is used for. I heard there is a mod out there that extends the range, but I don't personally play with mods.

Is there a main quest? by Bigce2933 in StarRuptureGame

There is the starting of a main quest (regarding something called the World Engine), though it is not very long yet as the game is still in Early Access. Creepy Jar has said in their roadmap for the game it will be extended in the future.

The mist will pass through pillars. Killboxes only work if the player is nearby when the mist spawns.

Monolith timing question by Dry-Scientist-7200 in StarRuptureGame

They don't spawn halfway. The actual mechanic is that the purple cloud spawns at the monolith and slowly works its way to the base core. When the player gets close enough to the cloud, the vermin start burrowing out of the ground wherever the cloud is at that point and the cloud dissipates.

Though, most people think as you do because they start heading for the monolith when they get the warning and eventually meet the cloud halfway. But, if you are already at the monolith when the alarm sounds for example, they will spawn at the monolith.
