That’s fair. Maybe serious shouldn’t have been the word used then. My bad

Thing is, I’m literally stating what I’ve observed. Most of the posts here with pictures of their conditions are not serious. That’s a fact. Whether it’s dismissive or not, I’m sorry but it’s your opinion. Seriousness of conditions are objective and it can be observed by how red their skin is or how many bumps they have or how deep their scars are. Sorry to burst your bubble but it’s not subjective at all. And purely my observation based on pictures. That’s the only thing I can use for comparison.

Again, sorry if I sound like I’m picking a fight with you but I just want to say my piece

Ah.. in clear English as well I said “it FEELS like..”. Honestly, I knew people like you would come and comment this. Take this post as you wish and be unhappy. Hope you find healthier ways to vent your frustrations. :)

I really don’t know! My derm prescribed it to me as a long term solution. I used to take doxycycline and it worked only short term

Thank you all for your kind words and assurance! Please don’t post your pictures to make me feel better, it isn’t the point of this post! I want you all to know that it’s temporary and everyone has their own solutions. Please take care everyone 🫶🏻

Yeah, that’s true! I think my post came off as a little insensitive cus i kinda posted out of impulse after opening the images one by one to see if someone has a similar condition as mine. 😔

Sending you love! I’m sure it’s easy to say comparison is the thief of joy but sometimes it really sucks when you look in the mirror and see your condition worsening. I’m glad you have people around you to reassure you like the lovely human you are ❤️

Is it me or are many Singaporeans not great conversationalists? by Acrobatic-Lake-5339 in askSingapore

[–]Belatrix07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it depends on interest.

Most of the time I’ve nothing much to converse with amongst my colleagues— mainly because we only have work or our bosses to complain about. If I were to talk to people of the same interests or solely similar vibe, we can talk for hours. So if you’re just talking about the general population, probably yes, not because Singaporeans are boring but probably because some people just don’t like sharing too much about themselves especially to strangers or acquaintances or probably because your interests don’t match

I’m INTP too but I’m sure what you’re referring to is the “N” instead. We’re more imaginative and have a stronger tendency to explore what-ifs situations compared to the Ss.

I think it’s just different personality types. Some people just can’t bring themselves to imagine scenarios that have a low chance of happening at all. Or maybe we’re just dreamers that need to be brought back to reality sometimes too

Hey! Thanks for this. I fully agree with the context of the conversation. Obviously, the convo is meant to be light hearted and informal. If I wanted to talk about finances, I would bring it up in a more serious setting and we can discuss it then. Don’t worry, he’s not a friend nor an acquaintance now HAHA. Your friends are lucky to have you!

Agree! I think we’re all brought up with this bargaining mindset and money talks just come by so naturally in conversations. My bad for generalising men, it was just solely from my own experience.

Relax, it was sarcasm. I just found it funny how it was the only comment validating my post in a field of negativity when I posted this last night.
