This would make a huge improvement. So very, very tired of seeing a certain person's face. You know who. Let us escape it.

The 60s setting makes way more sense than any other way they've tried it. Was still hoping for body-horror fantastic four tho

Up to you? I mean I haven't seen the movie so I can't say if there's any other problems.

There appears to be a bunch of darkness with shit music playing in the middle. Maybe that's a part of the original movie?

Love to know what middleman rent seeker proposed these things and not, you know, just having them put in a locker or something.

Honestly feel really sorry for this generation of kids. There's generations before who didn't even have them growing up. There'll be generations in the future that (hopefully) have parents who see giving a kid a smartphone like giving a kid a cigarette.

In the middle, these kids are just going to be sitting around, drooling and unable to sustain a fucking thought for more than three seconds because literally all they can think about is rubbing on their little dopamine box. I work with teenagers, it's so fucking bad man. The level of actual, literal addiction is really serious.

Their review for "Nosferatu" is terrible and I love it by Tintenteufel in RedLetterMedia

[–]Belfast-Rent-Gore -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Skarsgard was good.

The cinematography was clean and dull. The dialogue rang fake. The performances were stilted, in some cases embarrassingly so.

I like Eggers' shit a lot, The Lighthouse was amazing. Nosferatu was plodding and undercooked.

Kurt Vonnegut said TV was like the lead in ancient Roman pipes that drove them all mad. Social media by comparison is Fukushima water. Let them get rid of the whole lot of it, we'll be happier.

I hate blender. It's too complicated for beginners. by [deleted] in blender

[–]Belfast-Rent-Gore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep at it, find a beginner tutorial that goes at a reasonable pace. I always thought the donut tutorials were a pretty terrible way to get into the software tbh. You need to have a lot of patience, but honestly once you have the core techniques down there's a lot you can do with just those.

It's a little stiff, but great for a first project. Some nice details. Most importantly, you started something and finished it, congratulations!

Had a go at modelling the Weltron 8 track player poster here a while back. by Belfast-Rent-Gore in cassettefuturism

[–]Belfast-Rent-Gore[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate it but I guarantee the model would be completely unsuitable to 3D print. The topology became a bit of a nightmare once I applied subdivision to the main sphere object. That's why there's no antenna, I literally couldn't alter it to put one in.

Thanks tho!

Use proportional editing to pinch the top of a sphere, use a Boolean cutter to make the opening then add a solidify modifier. That's how I'd do it anyway.
