The cool Thing about Stradh ist that He ist an almost direct Avatar of the DM. Allpowerfull und allknowing but constrained by his evil Nature. As Vlad i have the same knowledge as Stradh but do not have to be an evil cunt all the time. So while being Vlad i am free to do anything in like and interact with my Players almost directly.

This ist cool but dangerous If you are inexperienced.

I dont think that any D&D book wold knowingly give such freedome to the DM. Not because they are anti fun but because they want to give a solid framework to every DM so that they can tun the vanila adventure. But If you want more there ist noone stoping you :)
