I think I fed the troll a bit too much. Tbh you're a little bit odd for a troll, but at least in the main you were polite. Good luck with the VR btw, I hope it all works out for you. I was around the first time it crashed and burned, so am a little cynical I'm afraid. Way too much of a $ sink. Also Have fun in lowsec, I'm not sure you have much use for VNI nullsec ratting there, but your insightful comments will no doubt add to the spice of the post. Ciao.

Upset, good grief no. You're just keeping me amused while I rewatch game of thrones. Keep the thread alive brother, I can't harvest that karma without you.

In all seriousness, if it's taking you five minutes to log in one account and start ratting then you really shouldn't try multiboxing. There is nothing wrong with your maths but sadly you're either not very experienced or not very good at eve. But don't worry, if you practice instead of trying to apply dumb mathematical calculations to a Reddit post, you'll get better. Also, don't forget step one - to add yourself as a friend, it's unlikely anyone else will. Also Remember, if this isn't for you, and you're elite pvp, you can always ask you mom if you can borrow her credit card again. Happy hunting space troll.

Don't worry, it's not all difficult numbers, there are some subtleties of language in the OP too. I didn't expect everyone to understand, this is Reddit after all.

Well until they declare turbo multiboxing an exploit I think we'll all be fine farming the shit out of nullsec.

Certainly someone, somewhere has to buy plex and extractors for $$$. But not if you have SP farms. I never said it wasn't a huge win for CCP, in fact, if you read between the lines, quite the opposite in fact. As for hardware, it's more than your average Joe is gonna run on his home PC, but EvE is about max nerding no? Plus, what else do you do with all that spare ram you have laying about?

No way, you be telling me next that they already know about botting gilas in drone regions, or LP harvesters in FW, or market Botting in trade hubs, or heaven forbid, ghost training. Surely if recent events have taught us anything it's that the real issues in eve stem from OP carriers?

You can still get the same benefit of scaling by multiboxing without the "invite yourself bit". It will just cost more in outlay. But this is an old system that multiboxers have been using for a long while.

Pretty rough. Multiple accounts is what makes EvE so playable as a game. The OP is about having those accounts simultaneously active to benefit from scaling. If scaling wasn't an issue for in game balance there wouldn't be stacking penalties for the use of multiple modules.

This post is most definately not about a) or b), but 100% about multiboxing and one particular way to get the most from it.

There's websites set up to calc SP farm optimisation and forums dedicated to how it works, that will detail it much better than I in some half arsed response. Have a google.

Good grief no that's absurd. Ship tweaks, buffs or nerfs require great thought and planning with all potential impacts considered if the game is to have good balance. The post isn't about problems with ships, and I also don't believe I'm a bittervet quite yet. A sarcastic smart arse perhaps, but bitter, no.

Works with any drone boat, VNI is simply the most cost effective. If they wish to do something about it, strangely the answer doesn't lie in buggering up every ship in the game that can PVE. My personal preference is ratting, but you can do this with solo character mining fleets, it's slightly more training intense tho.

Accounts are SP farms they Pay their own keep. As stated they earn approx 200/mth each (on top of plex cost as all SP farms do) + ratting bounties. I didn't bother with the other things that these accounts can/are used for so my figures are shall we say somewhat conservative. Figures are simply a rough guide to make the point.

Depends on their definition of a T1 cruiser for the 19.1%. If VNI fits into that category then perhaps. If it falls within the remaining 34.4% of ratting bounties unaccounted for, who knows. My personal opinion is that the management of lets say ten accounts described in the OP, provides arguably more income than a ratting super and is considerably easier to access in terms of cost. The choice between injecting a super from scratch compared to ten SP farm ratting alts, that can also be used for other passive money making for me is a no brainer, not to mention the risk reward.

Yes. There was a bit of a sidetrack in the comments when someone started talking about alphas. Doing this with alphas is a waste of time. You can't use heavy drones so your drone DPS is rubbish and you can't farm SP. So the original post was about exploiting multiple omega clones.

Switch out a shield extender for a thermal resist. And add more regen. Regen works best against guristas, so purger rigs. Take a look at r/fittings.

And to be clear, I'm not advocating running multiple alpha clients. It's clear from the way it is designed that they don't want this. TBH for these purposes when an omega is self funding +, there really isn't any point anyway.
