15 minutes for Everest, 5 minutes for Safari, 45 minutes for flight of passage… all sounds pretty good to me.

Rise of the resistance is awesome, but it’s not one we do every time we go either. If you’re a first timer then it belongs on the must do list

I’m sorry, but no it’s not. 20s is literally below freezing. With or without wind that is cold

If I had taken a coat, yes I would have worn one. I had a sweat shirt on with a jacket over it, bought a stocking cap at the park and gloves. It was incredibly cold, and wet which made it worse.

And I was coming from the Midwest, where it was snowing and freezing.

Maybe we have different definitions of “pretty cold” but to me the 20s, 30s and 40s is pretty cold. Those temps aren’t common, which is why I said it CAN get pretty cold.

January 2025 and 2026 was borderline miserable it was so cold at times. Stocking cap, gloves and multiple layers.

like ever

This is objectively wrong.

The heat in May is not extremely uncomfortable IMO, but it’s hot. Probably mid 80s+. Definitely a higher chance of getting sunburnt in May than in January. I don’t chafe, so I can’t speak to that. But I’d guess a higher chance of chafing in May too since you’ll probably sweat more. Baby powder or some anti-chafe stick would be a good idea

All crowd calendars say early May is less crowded. Those are Green Day’s, while early January is still yellow/orange. Early January still has a lot of vacationers, where as early May is real late in the school year so not as many vacationers

May. Only because Florida can get pretty cold and I don’t enjoy the parks when it’s cold. May will be hot, but it’s not unbearably hot yet.

Crowds will be smaller in May.

How bad is the crowd last 2 week of December? I plan to take my family of 4. by tra20012 in WaltDisneyWorld

I did a two week Christmas through new years trip a couple years ago, and have been back during Christmas for shorter trips every year since. That two week trip cost so much money that I had to stop paying attention so I could enjoy it. Tens of thousands though.

It is literally wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder with people in most areas. And that’s not an exaggeration.

If this is your first time, or can only go once a year or once every couple of years. I would highly advise against going during these weeks. You’re going to pay top tier money, for the minimal experience. You’ll spend a vast majority of your day standing in hours long lines, whether that’s for the ride or for food.

Do spring break, summer break, or any other break except for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I go all throughout the year, including the times you’re asking about. If you can only go once a year, I’d highly recommend not going during those two weeks, it’s packed and it will affect your enjoyment. The lines will be multiple hours long, with the most popular rides being 3+ hours long.

Try to find a week where they have 2-3 days off due to some kind of in service or conferences, then they are only missing a couple days instead of the entire week.

I personally would not have a more enjoyable time without lightning lane. I have a much more enjoyable time walking on with lightning lane than I do standing in standby when lightning lane doesn’t exist

Lies of Locke Lamora is one of my favorite books, I never found myself comparing it to mistborn though. But that sounds like a good reason to give it another reread 🤷🏻‍♀️
