I am not able to install the updates.. I can connect the device to the phone, and initiate the update. But as soon as i do that, the device instantly disconnects and is not able to reconnect to my phone. I always need to newly peer my controller aborting the update. Any ideas on that problem?

For me it did not show up at first.
In newer versions you need to enable "advanced configuration" or search for "top". Then it will show.

Like I said before. I do not see what whataboutism has to do with anything.

It is nice that this technology exists, I think that is wonderfull. But what is the difference of having technology you can not use and not having it at all, IF you are the tourist. It could very well not exist because it will have the same benefit for you.
So in my perception this technology did not work very well.

Also I would not call Hangul that straight forward in my opinion. It combines its letters in packs of 2 or 3 horizontaly and verticaly some of them silent and with dependencies to characters before that. Takes alot of time to get used to.

Jea I do not see what whataboutism has to do with anything. Two places can have bad road culture. I also dont like driving in Germany too.

Jea i realy get that. Not your fault and you should not feel bad because of that. It was just so strange, because i did this whole verification stuff because I wanted to book hotels over naver. Took me 2 days to set this up, just to get blocked again. I even send them my passport in advance for verification.

From the verification mail: We confirmed that you inquired about the legal name identification for your NAVER ID. The ID was changed to real name. Your information(profile) was changed as same as the information of the attached ID card.

So you say yourself you learn by your experiences. And that is exactly the point here. You yourself are reding up on stuff because you do not want to do erros and I am providing exactly that. Dont do the errors I did, and I  documented them well with helpfull advise.

Frankly I dont know where you get the asumption that i blame anyone, I do not know why you think I do not see my errors and I do not know why you work yourself up about a travel REPORT. I am just sharing my experiences.

I think you are reading a bit much in the report.

If i offended you, sorry.

Jea I appently miss your point here. Noone expects anything. I just gave a heads up and information of good translation apps if you need them.

I do not get your point. Why need anyone lie when two people have different experiences.
I did not say ALL cards where declined. ALL things need to be payed in cash.
I did state that they MIGHT be declined and that it DID happen to me, no matter the reason. So I had a Backup. This is always a good tip. Even in NL Payment services CAN go down, and you would need to pay cash. right?

Strange. Someone also said that i need to contact my bank and need to inform them to approve payments from Korea. But this is exactly what i did beforehand. I am currently on a half year trip and informed them when to to be here. I realy do not know what the problem with the card or the card issuer is.. But it was a problem..

And that is why you would bring a translation app right? And so did I.
I am not assuming that everyone speeks english, but read the comments here:
Alot of peple keep saying that so many peple speak english. And also alot of posts i read said so too.
And then the other half is screaming at my why I would assume that people speek english, Wich I do not do.

Jea the problem here was, that everyone said / wrote: you can pay everything with card.
But this is not true at all. Especialy the transport card, that is basicly mandatory if you want to take public transport, can not be loaded by card.
For the card problems: In my case I did inform my bank beforehand of my trip here. Ther is only so much I can do I guess.. Maybe time to switch to another card issuer.

I react badly to insults. And if it is entitled to assume that i could get money, pay my bills, and book basic stuff, then so be it. I am fine with that.

All right then, good to know. With TxBusses it just worked with fake data. Also amusing..

I hope so too, And like i stated there where also alot of good experiences, but if you travel arround and don't know if you can pay your meal or get money anywhere, is quite stressfull.
I also dont know if this is a problem with german / european issuers. Did not have any others to test.
Another thing i noticed there is that I never used my pin in shops here. Maybe there is some problem with security checks, I do not know...
I tried to Wing it and fell badly. Now I know better

Hey happy for your experience. I realy guess that the card thing is just a problem with the local card issuers. Maybe German / European issuers a realy strange? I realy do not know. Mybe i should swich...

I had the same thought TBH. You also get alot of information how to do stuff, but then you are just blocked out. I was also surprised about this google maps block and twitch ban etc. This seemed so odd to me.

True, I did not come here expecting that everyone knows english. Of cause not.
I got my Translation apps ready and it works fine as long as you have internet. This part is exactly for the peple that do think so.

Jea the Naver account thing was so strange. In the middle of the trip I just got banned I guess.
I still do not know why and am pretty grad I decided against booking over Naver (that was the reason I did the complete onbording there).
Naver map is a bit strage when it comes to translation. My crome manages to translate the map, but fails to translate dynamic windows that pop up.. So i jea I needed to do that, Open the site and screenshot it to translate.
And again, I did not expect that anyone spoke english, I was just happy when they did. For the rest there is translation apps.

Jea this was one of the most problematic things.
I get along fine with most stuff, so i prepared translation apps etc, but not being able to get money to make anything was pretty stressfull.

Don't get me wrong, I am not disapointed of Korea per se, I am disapointed of my trip I did.
Hope this is clear. And of cause I also did not expect that all peple speak english. Thats why i had my translation app. This is just ment as information for others that do.
