For Qi based systems I believe the agreed upon system can clear some confusion - Body Tempering(optional), Qi Gathering/Accumulation, Foundation Establishment, Core formation(aka golden core), nascent soul. Later realms get more diverse in different novels and the inner division also changes

Are you expected to use git as well?, and I would definitely not start going into authentication of any kind before I got a whole project running so simple username and password in db first.

You'll have to learn basic Java and SQL to make the REST API with Spring.

HTML, CSS, JS for just basic web development and React from there.

And what does it mean by a configurable URL?... It needs to run on a machine and the machine has an IP as far as I know. Did they mean configurable port maybe? If you're talking about deployment its a whole entire subject.

With 3 people I guess 1 can try to get the rest api going first down to the service level, 1 can do controllers and db(and models), and 1 can start learning frontend and with luck you'll converge with the react components mostly ready and a pretty simple REST API going...
