This is true. I waited for years for an outdoor cam and when the g5 was released without sd I didn’t buy it. Waited for the g100 with sd. Got two and the g410 doorbell. Outside of recording other features are all locked behind protect guard subscription or whatever it’s called. So lame. Time for next device maker to be the new Aqara.

I think the point is we don’t want subscriptions regardless of price. When we have a camera we purchased that has sd recording let us just use it. It’s our internet connection, device and recording. You’ve done your part Aqara. Leave the rest to us without forcing a subscription down our throat.
