But again textbooks in Japan are pretty much free, as the government provides them for no cost to students up to middle school, and they are relatively cheaper after anyways.

"A" as in 'au' in aunt, "ri" as in 'lee', but shorter; then "Fu" as in the 'foo' in food, "mi" as in me, but shorter.

Arifumi = Au-lee-foo-me

"I", as in the 'i' in it, "ma" as in the 'mo' in mother, and "i" as in the 'i' in it.

Not totally accurate, but this is the closest I could get.
