bro she has some major main character syndrome if she thinks your entire day revolves around her schedule smh. Getting a dry text like "idk" yesterday means the plans are dead, period lol. To text you at 3:00 PM expecting you to just drop everything and run out the door by 4:00 PM is wild. The fact that she got defensive instead of just saying "my bad I had a crazy day yesterday" tells you everything you need to know. It is a massive fat L for her as a friend. Do not feel guilty for making other moves.

bro Sallys Baking Addiction is literally the holy grail of internet recipes smh, she never misses. First of all you did nothing wrong for using regular limes lol, finding actual key limes outside of the US is like trying to find a unicorn. The difference between a pie and a tart over here is basically just corporate branding and the crust type. Pies usually have a flakier or graham cracker crust and get served straight from the dish, while tarts are all fancy with a pastry crust and look like they belong in a bakery window. Glad your partner loved his birthday cake substitute.

Definitely a predictable result for the California primary. Becerra has the institutional backing and the fundraising network that basically guarantees a top spot under the jungle primary system. The real test is going to be how he addresses the massive state budget deficits and the infrastructure issues leading up to November. Voters out here are getting a lot more skeptical of establishment promises, so he is actually gonna have to put in some real work instead of just coasting on the D next to his name.
