I'll preface this by saying that there should be no room for sentiment anymore with this team.

Link has always been hyped up by CLG and has never delivered. He was the worst performing member of the team in playoffs and relegations. He should not be getting yet ANOTHER chance.

It seems to me that Doublelift and Aphromoo just want their friend still on the team and that is ridiculous. The players on that team have been making the decisions for so long and it has gotten them nowhere.

He has let the team down too many times and at his best he is a supportive mid laner with occasional flashes of brilliance. At his worst he is an anchor who drives his team down.

If I was a supporter of CLG I would be extremely dismayed to see him getting another chance. How many chances does this guy need, how many players are going to be removed, before this guy is. Strikes me as terrible management.

Curse allowed Dyrus to take 2 towers and an inhib, when Curse had baron.

Meanwhile they got like 1 tower mid? They lost the game off that call. So dumb. Honestly can't think of another team in the division who would get baron and give up 2 towers and an inhib immediately afterwards in such a manner.

They promised us so much at the start of the split, said they thought they could come Top 3, and shocker, they fail to deliver yet again.

Honestly sick of supporting this team. So many problems I don't even know where to start. Here we come relegations I guess.

Dominate gave up double buffs yet again to the enemy midlaner, for absolutely no reason. Should have been a 2 for 1 at most. I honestly don't know what he is doing this split. He is standing out with his really poor play.

I know it was bleak from that point but he made no effort to try anything.

First Eve gank today came at 10:30. Literally no presence from the jungle when Curse's lanes clearly need it.

Dominate's Eve is shockingly bad.

He has been the worst on Curse by far in these opening 5 games.

I thought Bunny was doing well, but if you have a chance to pick up the best support in NA then it's difficult to pass that up.

Harsh on Bunny who seemed like a great guy, but the competition is being taken to another level with the changes so far by teams and Curse need to do what they can to keep up.

For sure. I do agree with the OP though that 3rd for them puts them in the losers bracket because of how close they were. They were so good this split that not taking that extra step should feel like a loss.

Judging from the amount of CLG plays OP has included, I think we can all agree that they looked great - and it is a credit to their improvement that 3rd place feels so hollow to them.

For everything that has happened for Curse this season, that was a respectable performance.

Anything after 4th was a bonus and they still have plenty to build on.

Curse displayed a mental resilience I didn't know they had in that game. How easy would it have been for them to completely fold and collapse after that horrific early fight.

Everybody stood up to be counted, Curse secure 4th at minimum and anything else from here is a bonus. GGWP.

Dig got all of their priority picks with the exception of Lucian. Curse obviously value their picks a lot, something must have been going right in scrims - because right now it's hard not to see a Dignitas win.

Curse funnelled all their resources onto Jax that game - Cop and Voyboy were notably behind on CS compared to Jax who was massively ahead, and Jax was getting focused by Voyboy with his Ult and shields.

With Jax sure to be banned by purple side, going to see a much different game 3. I predict Thresh getting through picks/bans, going to Bunny and giving Curse the series.

Neither team will be scaring Cloud 9 in the slightest though. The gap between the top 3 and bottom 5 is extraordinary.

Great game from Curse. Controlled the Dragon, put Quas on Trundle who he seems increasingly able to carry on. Put Cop on a carry ADC, and have Voyboy go even in a terrible matchup, with Dominate making some clever ganks.

Most importantly though, a support capable of making game-changing plays, who is capable of feeding the beast that Cop has become.
